How does everything work at Market Street Creatives?

Market Street Creatives is a diverse community of small shops.  The shop owner, a vendor, rents a portion of the store and can make their space their own. The vendor is given a unique ID number and special barcode labels containing the price and brief description they add to every item in their shop.  Customers can shop from the many stores all under one roof.  When customers find an item they want to purchase, they take it to the front register, and our staff scans the tag. Our Point of Sale system gives the vendor proper credit for that item. The process is seamless for the customer.  The vendor can log in to their portal anytime to monitor their daily sales and manage their inventory.  At the end of the month, Market Street Creatives issues a check to the vendor for all the sales they have made minus the next month’s rent. 

Shop owners do not need to be present at the store to make sales. They just need to set up their space and ensure that the product is merchandised well, and MSC takes care of the rest. Market Street Creatives allows you to open a new business or expand your current business without the stress or expense of having your brick-and-mortar store. This allows you to open a shop while working your day job, or it gives you the flexibility to have a full-time store while working at a local community fair.  

One of the most significant parts of Market Street Creatives is the community.  The saying “It takes a village” is prominent at MSC.  We encourage fostering relationships and collaborations where vendors help each other by spreading the word and bringing people into the store.  This is the primary focus of MSC, and through various marketing efforts, games, challenges, and collaborations, we aim to make this community fun and prosperous for all shop owners.
