Will your share our contact information with the public?
If a shopper asks to contact you directly, we will provide them with the contact information you gave us when you signed up.
How does your waiting list work?
If there is no space available in the location you are interested in, we will put your application on our waiting list until that space becomes available.

Market Street Creatives is a small business community where business owners can help one another, share ideas, and develop relationships that support the community.
How does everything work at Market Street Creatives?
Market Street Creatives is a diverse community of small shops. The shop owner, a vendor, rents a portion of the store and can make their space their own.
How can I lease space?
Contact us at vendors@marketstreetcreatives.com and let us know what you sell and what type of space you want.
Are there any work requirements as a vendor?
No, you are not required to do any work at Market Street Creatives other than the initial setup of your store. We work for you and are here to support you and your customers.
What types of vendors are not allowed?
Our primary focus at Market Street Creatives is to support artisans, crafters, makers, and small businesses who develop their products.
How do you handle vendors that sell competitive merchandise?
Competition is always a good thing. It is usually a sign that the product category is popular and with a larger consumer buying market. That being said, we will work hard to ensure that competitive vendors are not placed next to one another.
Fees And Rates
What are the costs involved?
Each vendor is charged an affordable monthly rent for the space. The cost depends on the size and type of space.
How long are your leases?
We ask for a minimum of 3 months with the understanding that you must invest time and money to set up your shop, and staying for a single month would make little sense.
How come you don’t charge commissions?
Our goal has always been to help small business owners and artisans. One way we can do this is to allow you to keep all the money you make. We charge affordable rent for the vendor space, which allows our business model to work without requiring us to charge any fees.
You do not charge credit card fees either?
No. Again, we aim to help our vendors and provide you a better experience. We have factored the average cost of credit card fees into our business model, so you do not have to pay for them out of your sales.
Questions on Vendor Space
Does Market Street Creatives charge fees for electricity in our store?
No, we encourage you to use lighting in your space to help make your store look better which will, in turn, increase sales.
Can I put a Wifi camera in my space?
Yes. We will offer free Wifi for all vendors. If you are concerned about being able to monitor activity in your space, then we encourage you to install a wifi camera system.
What can I do with the walls in my space?
You can paint the walls and trim in the space as you like.
What can I do with the flooring in my space?
If that works for you, you can leave the historic wood floor or add flooring such as carpeting, area rugs, or even a laminate wood floor.
Can your staff assist with the customization of my space?
We have staff that can help with some simple things. The best thing to do is to contact us, and we can discuss what you need to get done and let you know the cost for our contractors or staff to do the work.
What is available for electricity in my space and what rules are there?
Each store space has at least one outlet on the top of the wall that you can use for lighting, cameras or other accessories in your space.
What are the guidelines with walls and structures within my space?
We are very flexible with allowing shop owners to customize their space as much as they like. However we do have some guidelines.
What can I use for shelving, racks or display pieces in my shop space?
The setup and displays used in your shop space will attract customers to your store. We are very flexible as to what you can use in your space.
Event Space
Do you have event space available for vendors?
Yes we have two event rooms that are free to use for any vendor. You can use the space for anything from teaching a class to hosting a private party.
Can your event rooms be rented to non-vendors?
Absolutely. We have event rooms mainly to bring more people into Market Street Creatives.

How can I get photos of my products?
We have three options for you. Market Street Creatives also has an on-site maker space called Market Street Creator Space. We have a fully-equipped photo and video studio in the space that you can use to take professional-quality photos of your products.
